Documentaries
1985 –present Mujeres en Común / Women in Common: Latin America and the US, a photography project focused on women whose language, appearance, customs, socio-economic levels, and education are very different from my own. The project is composed of photographs and interviews – a look at what we do share.
1990 – present The Ladies’ Guild, photography depicting twenty sex workers and their families with photographs and interviews. Photos taken in Latin America. This series is a part of Women in Common.
1994 – 2009 Entre querés y quisieras: el embarazo de las niñas / Between Wishing and Needing: The Pregnancy of Children, photographic project published in Spanish in April 2009 with the support of the United Nations Population Fund/Nicaragua; accompanied by bilingual educational discussion cards/educards, teaching materials and workbooks. Published 2011. https://entrequeresyquisieras.blogspot.com This series comprises another part of Women in Common.
2011-2019 Healing Hands, photographs depicting a series of transformations that take place when one’s hands are severely injured, featured in the exhibition “Photography by Cozzi.”
